Mindfulness and meditation have come to me in my hardest moments. I have been reminded by something greater than myself to sit still, to empty myself to the best of my ability and to remind myself that the most important thing that I can do is to breathe. I whisper into my mind as words, story and fantasy begin to take over....... "Breathing in, I am aware that I am breathing in. Breathing out, I am aware that I am breathing out."
These words have been vital to me in my coming together in more harmony with my self. The more I sit, the more I slow down, and the more I remind myself that I am inhaling and exhaling, I find myself returning to the home that is within me more and more gracefully.
